Enjoy eleven days in Italy from Rome to Venice. An optional excursion to magnificent Spello is available. Continue to Tuscany and stop in Siena to attend Mass in the Basilica of St. Dominic. Then, visit the basilica as well as the Sanctuary of St. Catherine with a local expert, followed by a walk through the ancient narrow lanes of Siena to Piazza del Campo, theater of the biannual Palio, before continuing to Florence. Here, guided sightseeing includes a visit to Santa Maria Novella Basilica, Signoria Square, and the Santa Croce Basilica with Michelangelo’s tomb. Next is Pavia, where a guided visit of the Carthusian Certosa Monastery is included. Arrive in Milan where your guided walking tour features a special visit to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie to see Leonardo da Vinci’s world-famous The Last Supper (subject to availability). Stop in Padua to visit the Basilica of St. Anthony before arriving in Venice. Enter by private boat to meet your Local Guide; visit St. Mark’s Square and Basilica, lavish Doges’ Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a glassblower’s demonstration and in the evening, a farewell dinner with your traveling companions.
